Hip-Hop is in a great space, and that can be seen in rising talent like Naj Murph out of the Atlanta-based WATIA clique. The bubbling lyricist recently delivered a visual for “Rap Heaven,” the inaugural release from his forthcoming project, The Buffet.

In the treatment, Murph finds himself in captivity in an abandoned warehouse. Though the situation is sticky and his captors roll deep, his slick tongue and sharp rhymes are enough to get him out of the situation. Think Kid’s prison scene from House Party sans the bail.

Viewers will notice that wit is actually one of the Newburgh, NY native’s strong suits. See why while getting acquainted with Naj Murphy via “Rap Heaven” below.
