Damn you, Jordan Brand. Just when sneakerheads thought the onslaught of heat was slowing down, they’re are reminded that another must-cop hits shelves this Saturday, August 31. The shoe we’re referring to is the iconic Air Jordan V “Fire Red.”
People privy to the shoe’s history know that designer Tinker Hatfield based it on the WW2 Mustang fighter plane. The 2013 retro looks similar to the 2006 release and features a buttery white leather upper that is perfectly complimented by a fire red midsole with black accents. The same hint of black can be seen on the tongue.
The number “23” is also embroidered in the side of each shoe.
Again, the Air Jordan V Retro “Fire Red” releases this weekend at Jordan Brand stockists across the globe. This includes Foot Locker locations and Nike’s online store. The sneaker will retail for $160 USD.
