Lil Wayne is officially in the watch business. The Young Money rapper has partnered with wize&ope, a Parisian watch and accessories company, and has become one of its major shareholders and a brand ambassador.

Tunechi is currently on tour in Europe but found time to make an appearance at wize&ope’s flagship store in Paris, France this past Tuesday, October 15, just before his sold-out show at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy that night.  The “Prom Queen” rapper invested financially in the company this fall and will serve as its brand ambassador in the United States.

“My personal style, as well as my everyday lifestyle, has always been about individuality and being open minded,” said Weezy via a press statement. “I was drawn to wize&ope because of their amazing design, fresh packaging and their support of individuality. I’m excited to bring wize&ope watches stateside  and inspire their future collections.”

Lil Wayne’s management, Blueprint Group co-CEOs Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson and Efe Ogbeni of Worldpasport made the deal happen.

wize&ope products are available in Europe and Asia but will launch in North America in February 2014. Check out some photos of Lil Wayne at the in store event in Paris and rocking wize&ope gear in the gallery.
