Sneaker heads are currently plotting their bids to obtain a pair of Air Jordan 12 “Taxi’s” but one retro fan just scored the ultimate buy in reference to that particular edition of J’s.

A ballboy who was on the job for the 1997 NBA Finals matchup with the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz was able to walk away with the magical shoes and he recently put them up for auction with other sports memorabilia on Grey Flannel Auctions.

The winner dropped six figures— $104,765 to be exact.

Reports TMZ:

MJ signed the shoes for a ball boy who worked the game … and they eventually ended up for auction this month on Grey Flannel Auctions. The auction finally ended this morning.

So far, it’s unclear who placed the winning bid.

MJ23 has his share of favorite kicks and these were definitely one of the most coveted after he sunk the Utah Jazz’s chances of winning a title even further while experience “flu-like symptoms.”

Relive the incredible feat in the video below and check out the OG sneakers on the next page because they are literally one of a kind.
