Bud Light, the official beer sponsor of the National Football League, and gaming company EA Sports have announced a 3-day, 1-night concert lineup for the Super Bowl XLVIII weekend. Kicking things off for the Bud Light Hotel New York concerts will be The Roots and their “The Roots Present Hip-Hop NYC” event, featuring a pair of big names and other special guests.

The Bud Light Hotel New York events, which will take place on a docked boat on the Hudson River, kicks off Thursday, January 30, where The Roots will be providing a “History of Hip-Hop” alongside veteran rap legends Run DMC and Busta Rhymes and other surprise features for the night. The concert follows the annual Madden Bowl contest featuring NFL stars and celebrities going to battle on EA Sports’ Madden NFL 25 video game.

The rest of the lineup switches gears in genre with Grammy Award-nominated breakout act Imagine Dragons, stadium rockers The Foo Fighters, The Zac Brown Band, Fall Out Boy and country star Jake Owen all filling out the rest of the weekend’s events.

“We’ve brought together a world-class lineup of concerts that features some of the biggest names in the industry – including Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons and The Roots – and pays tribute to New York City’s impact on music and culture,” said Rob McCarthy, vice president, Bud Light via a press release. “With the help of our amazing partners, EA SPORTS, Pandora and Pepsi, this year’s Bud Light Hotel will stand apart as one of the premier destinations for Super Bowl week entertainment.”
