This has been an eventful week, since we’re just entering a new year, but as you wind down, be sure to make time for some good music via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
It’s a new year, and many of this week’s releases seemed to be tailored for the impending celebrations that come with New Years Eve. That said, expect a lot more fun cuts to appear on this list.
Along with that, we received records from some up and coming MCs out of the Midwest. One is a true lyricist that hails from Columbus, Oh., while the others, Chicago natives, also have bars, but are a bit more raw because their music is inspired by the happenings in the streets.
And last, but not least, Hip-Hop’s current golden boy set the year off properly with a pair of anthemic records. Hear them all in The Wrap Up after the jump.
