Late yesterday, Lil Wayne debuted the latest installment of Weezy Wednesdays, a weekly vlog that offers a “first hand look at the world of Weezy,” according to the rapper. This time, the focus momentarily diverts from the New Orleans native in episode two, as it formally introduces new YMCMB signee Euro.

The Providence, R.I. born and bred wordsmith caught Wayne’s attention through a trusted friend, who vouched for the newcomer’s talent. “He was just like, ‘There’s this cat, Euro, and he has a buzz about him,” Weezy said, prefacing the story on how the young rapper caught his ear. Next, Tunechi revealed that he reached out to Euro after hearing one verse and maybe a piece of a chorus.

Euro can be heard on Young Money’s “We Alright,” also featuring Wayne and Birdman. Find behind the scenes footage from that video shoot and more on Weezy Wednesdays below.
