By now, fans probably know that Nas’ Time Is Illmatic documentary debuted at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival last night (April 16). Sponsored by Hennessy, the night was a proper display of the Queensbridge rapper’s dichotomy, as he showed up to New York City’s Beacon Theatre in a dapper suit only to close the night on stage with a bottle of Henny in tow.

A list of star studded attendees included actor Robert De Niro, who’s one of three of the festival’s founders, the film’s producers Erik Parker and One9, Pete Rock, Wale, Alicia Keys, Raekwon, and Michael K. Williams. Those individuals enjoyed the autobiographical flick in a room filled with media folks and fans.

The screening and concert was of course followed by an after party, during which Nas celebrated his brother Jungle and some of Queensbridge’s finest. See a photo recap of the night after the jump.
