Nas has always had an affinity for Las Vegas. Besides opening up a sneaker store—called 12AM Run—in Sin City, the Queensbridge rapper hit up 1 Oak to party and perform his hits.

“Escobar Season” definitely returned at 1 OAK as legendary hip-hop superstar Nas performed an explosive, unforgettable show to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of his classic album “Illmatic.” The Queensbridge, New York rapper was also celebrating the launch of his new Vegas sneaker store venture 12:AM Run

Before his big night at 1 OAK, Nas and his entourage enjoyed a private dinner atSTACK Restaurant and Bar at The Mirage, where they indulged in an array of star Chef Brian’s Massie’s cuisine of American classics.  After dinner, he headed to the nightclub to walk the red carpet. Clad in a black and gold limited edition 12:AM Run t-shirt, jeans and shades, Nas posed for pictures for photographers and fans.

Inside, Nas and crew enjoyed an exclusive VIP table behind the DJ Booth, where he chatted with his team, took in the club scene and bobbed his head to the music. At12:45 a.m. he grabbed the mic and kicked off his set with his smash hits “Hate Me Now” and “Made You Look.” During his set he also took time to shout out another hip-hop legend who was in the building-Too Short-who joined him on the stage and performed the club banger “Blow The Whistle.”
