Arkansas promoters for the Riverfest festival in Little Rock are accusing Cee Lo Green of trying to ruin a perfectly good Memorial Day Weekend.

The Goodie Mob superstar was said to be contractually obligated to perform for a minimum of 75 minutes but according to one of the promoters, he tried to get over and just do half of the work for all the pay.

Via TMZ:

Diminutive rapper CeeLo Green came up short on Saturday night and it’s apparently going to cost him … because a concert promoter in Arkansas is refusing to pay him.

Green performed at Riverfest in Little Rock, Ark. on Saturday night. Green was contractually obligated to play for at least 75 minutes … but his performance only clocked in at around 40 … at least that’s what Riverfest board member Cheddy Wigginton tells TMZ.

Wigginton said they had to pay nearly half of Green’s fee up front — they’re withholding the rest. He said Riverfest won’t be looking to recoup the deposit.

We reached out to CeeLo’s camp … so far no word back.

The annual festival is billed as Arkansas’ premier and largest music and arts event and Cee Lo was supposed to take them to the promised land on the Saturday stage as the headliner.

Apparently Mr. Wigginton was the only individual disappointed in Cee Lo’s set. Twitter user @kellychaney went extra hard on the singer tweeting, “Ceelo Experience sucks hard @Riverfest. You messed up this time. #riverfest #badexperience.”

According to THV11, Cee Lo’s manager, Larry Mestel with Primary Wave Management, said that they were given a check the full amount so it is anyone’s guess who’s right and who’s wrong at this point.
