It’s Friday folks and that only means one thing around these parts. In comes another assortment of audible treats via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.

This list holds true to the sonically diverse cuts that can be found on past lists. But this time, the running theme seemed to surround veteran MCs rhyming alongside relatively new artists. While that’s kind of how the cookie crumbled this week, it shows that some of our favorite wordsmiths are very much aware of the dopest newcomers.

Also expect some ambitious production that takes influences from Jazz, Rock and more.

10. Rich Gang ft. Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan – “Lifestyle”

Producer: London On Da Trak

This record isn’t the trap jam that we hoped it’d be, but it’s a smooth listen nonetheless.

9. Vince Staples & Bad Rabbits – “Made”

Producer: Bad Rabbits

Converse was the glue that brought together a rapper from Long Beach and a Boston-based Jazz band. And the result… a damn good song.

8. J Dilla – “The Doe”

Producer: Supa Dave West

This unreleased gem by Dilla Dawg has certainly gotten a fair amount of spins around these parts. Hear why above.

7. Curren$y & Le$ – “Game 2”

Producer: N/A

Spitta Andretti and Le$ have developed an interesting chemistry on wax. Listen above, and you’ll understand why we’re excited to hear what the duo cook up next.

6. 50 Cent ft. ScHoolboy Q – “Flip On You”

Producer: Nascent

This is the collab that both 50 and ScHoolboy fans have been waiting for. Does it live up to the hype?

5. Migos ft. Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan

Producer: Murda Beatz

How can you not admire the unity among ATL-based artists?

4. World’s Fair – “Uh Huh”

Producer: Jansport J

The Queens collective dropped a freebie cut to commemorate their upcoming tour, but it ended up being better than the lot of what artists released this week. Go figure.

3. Zumo Kollie – “Say A Prayer”

Producer: Jeff Gore

This newcomer blessed the Internets with the You’re A Good Sport, Zumo Kollie EP. This is just the intro.

2. Ghostface Killah & BADBADNOTGOOD ft. Danny Brown – “Six Degrees”

Producer: BADBADNOTGOOD

Tony Starks and Danny Brown are no spring chickens in this rap game, but both still possess the ability to beat the proverbial breaks off of younger MCs. Here’s proof.

1. Common ft. Vince Staples – “Kingdom”

Producer: No I.D.

Com Sense finds a little inspiration in Chicago’s current conditions on this hard hitting cut. And that’s without mentioning that Staples kills it.
