Los Angeles’ Hip-Hop scene has provided some of the best projects this year, and there may be another on the way courtesy of rapper/producer Luke Christopher. The bubbling wordsmith returns with a visual for a complicated love story titled “Life Jackets.”
The artsy clip was shot in a handful of desolate settings, including a beach that conveniently houses a piano. The West Coast native shares his screen time with the object of his affection, though there’s never any direct contact between the two. But this abstract view of love perfectly compliments the rapper’s emotion lyrics and production.
If nothing else, this cut is proof that Christopher is a one man show with the ability to rhyme, produce and croon when needed.
