The name Taylor Bennett may not resonate with Hip-Hop fans just yet, despite a familiar face at first glance. Hailing from Chicago, he’s actually the younger brother of Chance The Rapper (born Chancellor Bennett).
Bennett returned with a visual for “New Chevy,” featuring King L, from his Mainstream Music mixtape, which released in May. His vocal tone is eerily similar to his kin and he shares the same affinity for melody. But if nothing else, this tune indicates that the younger Bennett brother could strike gold with a radio hit first.
A potent chorus that’s catchy to say the least is partially to blame. The song’s fun loving spirit definitely plays a part as well.
