Keith Murray is known for lyrically dense rhymes, but he needs to get more credit for his storytelling on and off the mic. The latter was on full display when he hit The Breakfast Club for an extensive interview.
The Long Island rapper had no problem detailing his past beefs, rolling with Erick Sermon and Redman, rapping with Juice Crew when he was a teen and whether or not him and Tupac ever got into a fight.
One particular nugget that stood out was how his past beef with Dame Dash started when Murray accidentally hit Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s car outside The Tunnel nightclub in New York City.

Keith Murray ran into Pac at the House of Blues and they discussed whether or not “I Shot Ya” (also “Who Shot Ya?”) was aimed at Pac. They never fought, beef was diffused.
Murray still says he never assaulted that kid in Connecticut, but the jury didn’t believe him and he caught a three year bid.
Keith Murray had no idea that Prodigy was going to be on LL’s “I Shot Ya” record with him.
That was actually his car, the Lexus, that’s he standing and rapping on in “The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World” video.
On Erick Sermon: “He changed my life.” Respect.
Parrish Smith wanted to sign Keith Murray after the EPMD break up, but he was too loyal to Erick Sermon to make that happen.
Keith says he once traded verses with Kane thanks to his uncle who was the rap legend’s bodyguard and has footage of him rapping with the Juice Crew. He’ll put it out, one day.
