Happy Friday folks. Your friendly purveyors of music are back with a few audible treats via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
Like the last edition, this collection of records are diverse in both lyrical approach and soundscape. For example, artists from Chicago, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh ensured that street rap materialized in an array of forms. Most songs are a far departure from the trap sound that dominates the sub genre.
The remainder of the list dons doesn’t falter. Listen up after the jump, and be sure to give us your thoughts on The Wrap Up in the comments.

10. Lil Reese ft. Lil Bibby – “Love Me”
Producer: N/A
The Chicago kept their messaging brief on this hard-hitting street tune. That’s far from a problem in this case.
9. Vic Mensa – “Wimme Nah”
Producer: Kaytranada
At this point, we’re clamoring for a new project from Mensa. That’s it.
8. Mike WiLL Made It & Young Thug – “Take A Picture”
Producer: Mike WiLL Made It

Say what you want about Thugga. He’s delivering one solid track after another, and this time he does so through Mike WiLL.
7. Your Old Droog – “On The News (Tamron Hall)”
Producer: El RTNC & Your Old Droog
What better way to let your crush know you exist than through a song? Well, maybe not. But that was Droog’s approach to reaching out to the news correspondent. If nothing else, it translated into a hell of a track.
6. Boaz ft. Punch – “Fly Sh*t”
Producer: Taliban Ju
TDE president Punch isn’t the most likely choice for a feature, but Rostrum Records artist Boaz saw worth in getting some assistance from the West Coast native. Kudos for that.
5. Beyoncé ft. Nicki Minaj – “Flawless (Remix)”
Producer: Hit-Boy, Beyoncé, Rey Reel, & Boots
Leading the charge in their respective lanes, Queen Bey and the YMCMB Barbie joined forces with epic results on his remix.
4. Kembe X ft. Ab-Soul & Alex Wiley – “As I Unfold”
Producer: Blended Babies
Don’t expect any excessive glitz or glamour here. This song, my friends, is nothing but a raw beat and sharp bars.
3. Black Milk & BADBADNOTGOOD – “Now Or Never”
Producer: BADBADNOTGOOD
Hailing from Detroit, you can bet that Black Milk can articulate the street life on wax. And he does so above with a barber’s precision.
2. T.I. ft. Young Thug & Killer Mike – “About The Money (Remix)”
Producer: London on the Track
The Kang delivered more good things on this reworked version of his street anthem. Also, Killer Kill isn’t to be trifled with on the microphone, if you didn’t know.
1. Action Bronson – “Easy Rider”
Producer: Party Supplies
Action Broson and Party Supplies are batting at Ty Cobb status. We’re now more excited than ever to hear Mr. Wonderful.
