Nico & Vinz have a worldwide smash with “Am I Wrong.” Interestingly, the singing duo met as rappers before transitioning into hit-making crooners.
“Sometimes when people go from rapping to singing, you’re being perceived as ‘You’re going Pop,’ or ‘You selling yourself,’ or whatever,” Nico told Hip-Hop Wired. “Even in Norway, people never told us that because it still felt real. The music we made was us. It felt like Nico and Vinz. No one ever reacted negatively to it. It was a natural process for us to start singing more.”
