Dana Plato and Todd Bridges were fictional siblings on the ‘80s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes. Unfortunately the pair shared the problem of substance abuse in real life. Bridges was booked on various charges and addicted to both methamphetamines and cocaine while Plato was arrested of attempted robbery and eventually died of an overdose in 1999.
