In January of 2002, Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys fame was arrested in Pop City nightclub in Channelside, Florida after local police reportedly attempt to restrain him during an argument with a female club patron. Carter was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting or opposing a law enforcement officer without violence.
