When looking back at some of 2014’s most heated celebrity feuds, an argument can be made that this was a banner year for infighting among celebrities.

Jay Z vs. Solange Knowles

We’ll never know exactly what happened in that elevator back in May, but whatever it was got Solange quite upset. Her close quarter swings and kicks made this feud one of 2014’s best.

Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry and Diplo

There were a lot of subliminal shots exchanged between Perry and Swift before Diplo hopped in and suggested a Kickstarter to enhance Swift’s derriere. We all stopped caring around the time Lorde jumped in the fray.

As long as William Leonard Roberts is rapping under a name inspired by former L.A. cocaine kingpin Ricky Ross, there will be no end to this feud.

Over the years, we’ve learned that 50 Cent is not the one to beef with. But Fif putting up $750,000 for charity if Floyd could read one page of a Harry Potter book was just a friendly reminder.

So far, 2014 saw Iggy Azalea drawing the ire of Snoop Dogg, Azealia Banks, Nicki Minaj, and to a much lesser extent Q-Tip and Solange Knowles. Call it cultural appropriation or a lack of self-awareness, but few Grammy nominees get this much grief…not even Macklemore.

When Bailon made an offhand remark about her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian in a September issue of Latina magazine, the Kardashian clan struck back. Kim and Khloe sent out some Twitter shade, and to her credit, Bailon took her digital fade in style.

Chris Brown vs. Drake

Break up to make up. After Breezy and Drake finally squashed their old beef over Rihanna, Brown accused Drake of smashing his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Someone should probably start hiding Brown’s phone when he gets heated.

Azealia Banks vs. T.I.

Clearly don’t like each other. With Banks calling T.I. a race traitor for backing Iggy Azalea, and Tip calling Azealia a “musty mouthed thot,” this won’t end anytime soon.

Seth Rogen and James Franco vs. North Korea

It takes a special kind of beef to anger an entire nation, and with The Interview, Seth Rogen and James Franco did just that. Their Kim Jong-un spoof was ultimately responsible for an estimated $70 million in damages when North Korea allegedly hacked Sony and caused The Interview to be pulled from theaters.

There’s no photo or video evidence, but all signs point to Puff going “0 to 100” on Drake real quick for allegedly jacking a Boi-1Da beat and making it his own.
