Song Of The Year

Nominees: “All About That Bass”, “Chandelier”, “Shake It Off”, “Stay With Me (Darkchild Version)”, “Take Me to Church”

The loving yourself vibe of “All About That Bass” is dope enough to capture millions of YouTube views, but won’t win Song Of The Year. Despite Sia’s efforts to bring her unique vocal talents to the table in “Chandelier”, voters won’t give it the W. Setting aside the controversy of Hozier’s moving composition, “Take Me to Church” won’t have its prayers answered by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. And “Shake It Off” will have to keep Taylor Swift comfortable at night because her song probably came in at number two. Instead, the distinction of “Song Of The Year” will go to Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me (Darkchild Version)”, which will continue to cap off the English singer and songwriter’s winning night.
