Grammy award success will still elude Nicki Minaj as “Anaconda” comes up short when it counts. Wiz Khalifa’s chest-thumping track, “We Dem Boyz” didn’t hold up well through the year to warrant a win at the Grammys. “0 to 100 / The Catch-Up” was actually a loosie track that caught enough fire to become the envy of mixtape rappers everywhere, but still won’t win Best Rap Song. The battle really boils down to Kanye West’s “Bound 2” and Kendrick Lamar’s “i”. Our pick to walk out with the 2015 Grammy for Best Rap Song will be Kendrick Lamar because the song resonates across the globe.
