Best Rap Album

Nominees: “The New Classic”, “Because the Internet”, “Nobody’s Smiling”, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, “Oxymoron”, “Blacc Hollywood”

The category which will start ether sessions on Twitter is lacking in a few areas, but there can be only one. Childish Gambino’s effort, Because the Internet, is beloved by critics, but is lacking in electricity to earn a Grammy distinction. Common’s timely project, Nobody’s Smiling, comes on the heels of the Chi-town legend winning a Golden Globe, but NARAS will frown upon his recent rap chronicling. Top Dawg Entertainment’s next-up to bat, Schoolboy Q, will be revered for being a part of a “Grammy Family”, but won’t take home Best Rap Album honors. Even Wiz Khalifa cannot crack the code to find his first Grammy win, in lieu of Blacc Hollywood being panned by critics. This leaves the matchup between Iggy Azalea and Eminem as the bout for the night in the Best Rap category. With both artists having chart-topping success, our pick for the 2015 Grammy for Best Rap Album goes to, with heavy and sullen hearts, to the new King of Hip-Hop Queen of Pop-Rap, Iggy Azalea.

Come the following day, would we have gotten our predictions right or wrong? If you have your own, please don’t hesitate to share them in the comments section below.
