Pharrell’s Twitter chat went down earlier today as planned, and like his “Blurred Lines” buddy Robin Thicke, the premise immediately was hijacked and trolled.

Even a fellow as popular as the solo Neptune isn’t exempt from slander and the Internet’s scorn and several–if not thousands–of social media dwellers decided to let him know how he wasn’t their favorite media darling. The live Q&A was in conjunction with the superstar producer’s Grammy campaign, where he is nominated for a handful of gramophones, include album of the year with his last album, G I R L.

However, plenty of people haven’t forgotten the album’s cover “lack of” diversity nor his commentary on Mike Brown. Take a look at the sample below.

Sadly, it got much worse. Of course, there were some real questions to which Pharrell gave real responses (Buzzfeed, iHeartRadio; to name a few) but there were plenty dirty digs that went unnoticed but they just happened to be all over our timeline.

Take a look at the craziness Pharrell’s Twitter chat spawned in the pages down below.
