Dr. Dre vs. Eazy-E
The legend of Suge Knight was originally born when Eazy-E refused to let Dr. Dre out of a less than favorable contract with Ruthless Records. Eazy alleged he was “convinced” to give Dre his release by a group of armed thugs that included Knight. The late Eazy-E also alleged he was still getting paid off Death Row releases. Since Eazy and Dre reconciled and Suge is busy these days, we’ll never know.
