On Wednesday (April 8), Rich Homie Quan turned himself into Miami police two weeks after a LIV nightclub security guard accused him of assault.

Christian Cajigas told police that Quan punched him twice and fled the scene in a speedboat after he refused to admit him into the club, which was at capacity.

According to NBC, the rapper will face a misdemeanor charge for simple battery.

RHQ’s lawyer, Rick Corona, says thing about Cajigas’ claims:

There’s a civil suit that’s been filed, it’s all about monetary gain, taking advantage of a celebrity and that’s the whole situation. That’s why we’re here and the truth will come out. The truth will come out. Our client is innocent and the truth will come out…our client did not throw any punches and the truth will come out.
