Just about everyone aspires to make a million dollars at some point in their lifetime. It’s an entirely different matter to be sitting on a mil before you’re legally old enough to drink.
While there are plenty of cautionary tales of child celebrities blowing their fortune or having their parents help them, others just begin the process of being filthy rich as minors. That was the case for these 14 stars that were millionaires before 21.

Lil Wayne
Cash Money is notorious for not paying their artists, but Wayne should win here by longevity alone. He’s been recording since 1995’s True Story, which means he’s been seeing something that resembles a royalty check (or YMCMB’s preferred method of payment) since the age of 13.

The object of Tyga’s affection copped a $2.7 million dollar mansion back in March. Someone else may be legally calling the shots, but Kylie’s got M’s.
Kobe Bryant
“The Black Mamba” has been a millionaire since signing on the dotted line in 1996. One of the perks of jumping to the NBA from high school was a guaranteed contract for around $3 million plus another $1 million from adidas.
Bow Wow
If you factor in a royalty check, Bow Wow should’ve been a millionaire once his sophomore album Unleashed shipped to stores. The 2003 project was certified platinum within 30 days back when Bow Wow was only a 16-year-old.
Beyonce
Even with some allegedly shady management from Mathew Knowles and having to split the pie four ways, a gold album at 17 and another platinum album a year later should’ve ensured Queen B was sitting on a milli while she was a teenager.
Will Smith
The Fresh Prince signed on with Jive Records during his senior in high school. By the time graduation rolled around he had a hit single, whatever advance money they threw him, and all the perks that came along with it.
Keke Palmer
Given that she started collecting acting checks around 10-years-old, even the most conservative estimates have Palmer clocking lifetime earnings of at least a million bucks. After all, she’s been consistently landing acting roles for the last 11 years, and she’s only just now 21.
Romeo Miller
Say what you will about his music and those ICDC commercials. The second generation No Limit soldier had a gold record at 12-years-old. A little bit of touring money should’ve easily put him in the $1 million territory.
LL Cool J
Don’t let old that old CBS money trick you into thinking Mr. Smith hasn’t been getting it for decades. He literally helped build Def Jam Records by dropping platinum hits since the age of 18.
Jaden Smith
There’s no freaking way Will Smith let his kid get paid scale for acting in The Karate Kid and After Earth.
Raven Symone
She might not know the difference between a country and a continent, but Raven can raise a buck or two…million. Add up that early Cosby Show money, plus the Disney money, and whatever she got from her recording career, and Raven was easily a teenage millionaire.
Tyler James Williams
When you’re getting paid per episode, two years on Little Bill and another four years on Everybody Hates Chris can quickly add up to $1 million or more.
Michael Jackson
Those old Motown contracts were probably the worst. Even still MJ was 12 when “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There” all hit the top of the charts. Oh by the way, Michael was 17 when Off The Wall dropped. Surely the guy had over a million if he was buying pet monkeys.
