This is still happening, Bill Cosby’s troth of accusers is expanding by the day. Three new women are now accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting them.
Attorney Gloria Allred already snatched them up too. She made the announcement in a press conference, and on Facebook Thursday (April 23):
“Prior to today, none of these women have spoken in public about what they allege that Cosby did to them.
They have chosen to speak out now, however, because Cosby has still refused to acknowledge and take responsibility for his misconduct towards women. In addition, he has chosen to continue with his “Far From Finished” concert tour, and will be performing next week on May 2nd at the Cobb Centre in Atlanta, Georgia as though the allegations against him by more that 40 (?) Women mean nothing and should be disregarded.
Perhaps he mistakenly believes that no more women will come forward alleging that they are victims. If that is what he thinks, we are here today to tell him he is wrong. The women who are with me today are not the last ones who will come forward.
I can assure him that there will be more, because women are no longer going to be intimidated by Cosby’s celebrity, money or power.”
The accusers, claim the Cosby assaults happened in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Marcella Tate says she was drugged and assaulted by Cosby in the Playboy mansion in 1975. Tate was a 27-year-old model at the time.
Another was a 20-year-old model back in early ‘70s. She says Cosby approached her at the Sahara hotel in Las Vegas, claiming he could get her some work. He also gave her $500 to gamble, before inviting her to his room. The alleged victim says she was assaulted after she passed out from one of Cosby’s drinks.
Victim three, Jenice Baker-Kinney, was a bartender in Reno, Nevada. She says Cosby invited her to a “pizza party” back in 1984. She was 24 at the time. Baker-Kinney says Cosby offered her some pills. She took them and thought, “It must be ok. Bill Cosby said it was.”
She went black, and woke up to Cosby taking her clothes off, and carrying her upstairs. She passed out again and woke up naked in bed with Cosby, who she says was touching her private areas. She high-tailed it out of his house, but before she left he allegedly said, “This is between you and me.”
Cosby hasn’t addressed each of the allegations directly, but denied wrong-doing early on. Then he recorded whatever this is and confused everybody.
