At this point, who isn’t going to make a came on FOX’s hit drama Empire? In a recent interview, R&B singer and actor Tyrese hinted that he’ll be appearing on Empire, reuniting with his Baby Boy co-star Taraji P. Henson.
Reports Page Six:
“Me and Taraji, we gotta do what we do,” Gibson, 36, told Wendy Williams in an episode of her talk show that aired Friday, hinting that he’ll play a love interest to Cookie Lyon on “Empire” this season.
“I’m coming to get my girl back,” he said to thunderous applause.
Gibson and Henson famously played angry and passionate lovers Joseph “Jody” Summers and Yvette in 2001’s “Baby Boy.”
“All them dudes on there kissing on my girl … I’m kinda done with seeing all that,” Gibson added.
Suggesting that his character will certainly turn up the heat with Cookie, Gibson said, “This chocolate is spreading!”
Considering that Tyrese dropped a no. 1 album, independently, in July, we’re going to go ahead and say he is having a fine 2015.
