The reclusive Prince decided to get a little crazy yesterday (October 23) and to embrace the digital realm and fire up his Instagram account one good time.
After all, the legendary singer’s thirty-eighth studio album, HITnRUN phase one was recently released last month so all promotion is good promotion, right? Good luck finding it on YouTube or Apple Music, though.
In just a 24 hours, his social media handlers The Purple One managed to post a whopping 88 posts that include a wide array of nostalgic headshots, current concert tour pics and even some memes. Younger music fans probably best know the 57-year-old superstar from the spoof Dave Chappelle did back in 2004 on his Comedy Central variety show and a well placed (disapproving) memes were thrown up in the mix.
