Metro Boomin may not trust you, but he sure as heck is banking on you to trust his fashion sense. Now that the STL producer has burst into the pop culture scene with that famous tagline, “If Young Metro Don’t Trust You I’m Gon’ Shoot You,” he’s capitalizing on his newfound fame and producing some tees that bare the saying now etched into Hip-Hop history.
Reports Complex:
“I watched how big my ‘Metro Boomin want some more’ got, and how it grew, and I knew it was time for something new—to preserve that tag and not let it get old, and also to bring some new flavor to the table,” Metro told Complex. “Since the first time I put that drop in a beat, I planned and anticipated it becoming something big, but I didn’t expect for it to become this huge so fast.”
Huge may just be an understatement as the saying has spawned countless Internet memes, found its way into a political interview with Ben Carson, and even inspired Ben Affleck to use the tagline to promote his Batman V. Superman flick.
The shirts come in four designs and will be available for a cool $35 a piece (cop right here). Just don’t be surprised when some people you deem untrustworthy try to flex in your hood with these tees on.
