Maxwell is back to put all these alleged R&B crooners on notice, hopefully. The Brooklyn native took to Facebook Live to debut his new single, “Lake By The Ocean.”
The “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)” singer also answered questions during his FB Live session (which you can peep below). Maxwell’s last album, BLACKsummers’night (see the difference?) was released in 2009 and was supposed to be a trilogy but a seven year gap between releases sort of nixed that.
Maxwell’s new album, blackSUMMERS’night (call it “Summers,” per the artist), will be out July 1. Check out the lyric video for “Lake By The Ocean” below, too.
