The Neptunes
Although the production duo has split off into their respective spaces and artistic directions, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo turned the music industry on its head with its electronic funk that borrowed heavily from other genres including Hip-Hop. Since the early 1990s, Williams and Hugo have been behind some major hits and worked with everyone from Jay Z, Daft Punk, and Busta Rhymes.
