YG stopped by L.A.’s Power 106’s The Cruz show to talk about his new album, touring with G-Eazy and the “classic” status of My Krazy Life.

With his sophomore album Still Krazy set to drop this June, YG is starting to make the rounds to promote it. In an interview with The Cruz show he admits that recording this album was more difficult. One, because his debut My Krazy Life only featured one producer, DJ Mustard. In case you forgot, YG and Mustard had a falling out after the album was released and only just recently got back on speaking terms. So for Still Krazy, YG had to step out of his comfort zone and work with other people. He also revealed that TDE’s in-house engineer Mixed By Ali worked on the album and that it took more time than what he would have liked to get the job done because of his busy schedule.

YG also opened up about fans calling his debut album a classic. Honestly, he thought people were just playing with him and he still hasn’t bought all the way into the hype yet.

YG is currently on the Endless Summer tour with G-Eazy, Logic and Yo Gotti.
