Kyrie Irving's Nike Kyrie 3 Finally Unveiled [Photos]

Kyrie Irving is a top flight point guard in the NBA, and has the sneakers to match. Today (Dec. 21), Nike officially unveiled the the Kyrie 3, Irving’s third signature shoe for the Swoosh. 

Fundamentally the Kyrie 3 is all about court response and traction in order to complement Irving’s game. Besides a wet jumper, it consists of a mean handle, a sneaky crossover and quick forays to the rim.

The lightweight shoe features traction pods on the forefoot, an integrated forefoot band with Flywire cables and a Zoom Air unit in the heel.

JBY (“Just be yourself”) and H + H (“Hungry and humble”) are seen on the shoe’s tongue, and are mottos Irving lives by. Other designs that serve as homages to his family include Azurie (the name of his daughter) Elizabeth, his late mother, on the visible Zoom Air unit.

The Kyrie 3 in the first black ice colorway seen here will be available globally starting December 26 for a very reasonable $120.
