Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo are a pair of Instagram models who have large followings on the social media network and their pages are filled with photos of their lavish lifestyle. The pair is now under investigation for an international sex scandal in where the women are accused of extorting money from a Nigerian billionaire along with other rich men.

Politics Nigeria reports:

Two sisters, Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo have been remanded in prison custody for allegedly trying to blackmail billionaire, Femi Otedola. The sisters are also guilty of cyber-bullying and for running a notorious website called ‘naijagistlive’. The website was used by the sisters to accuse several high-ranking men like Shina Peller, Femi Otedola, Musa Danjuma among many others, of cheating and patronizing prostitutes.

Investigations by Politics Nigeria reveal that the sisters who are high society prostitutes sought to blackmail Otedola by claiming to have evidence of him cheating on his wife. They demanded money in order not to go public with the details. This was their ‘modus operandi’. It was also discovered that the girls recorded conversations and s*x romps with their rich clients which comprise of politicians, club owners and businessmen.

In a statement released to Politics Nigeria, the women allegedly were wined and dined by the rich clients and had sex with them then threatened to post evidence of their activities to the NaijaGistLive website, which would expose their deeds to the world and their families. Reportedly, a third party would contact the men after dealing with the Matharoo sisters and threaten to release private footage unless they paid thousands of dollars to them. As the statement notes, the sisters used this tactic with 274 other persons.

The sisters admitted to sleeping with over 100 Nigerian men and had to sign an official document to never set foot in the country again. It was Otedola’s diligence and investigation that ultimately led to the Matharoos sisters’ downfall. Otedola, who made his money in energy, is said to be worth $1.8 billion.

The Matharoo sisters are being held in Nigeria until their January court date. According to reports, the sisters are said to be Canadian nationals and is receiving legal assistance from the country in the matter.
