A Tribe Called Quest is dope, regardless if any organization chooses to recognize that or not. Nevertheless. the Hip-Hop giants will be performing at the Grammys this year.

According to Pitchfork, Tribe will be hitting the stage alongside R&B crooner Anderson .Paak and rocker Dave Grohl. .Paak, who is signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath, appeared on ATCQ’s latest album, We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service.

It’s likely they’ll be performing “Movin Backward” off the aforementioned album, with Grohl filling in for Jack White, who played on a few cuts on the project. Although Phife Dawg has passed away, Jarobi has officially returned to the fold while Consequence and Busta Rhymes are also on this new Tribe edition that still includes The Abstract and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

LL Cool J won’t be hosting after what seems like 20 years. Instead, this year’s show will be hosted by James Corden.

The Grammys air live on February 12 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m.

However, Kanye West and Drake reportedly won’t be in attendance.

RIP Phife Dawg.
