T.I. isn’t a New York Knicks fan, but he does have a suggestion for people who are.

The Atlanta rapper tells fans that they should stop going to Madison Square Garden to see the home team play until they lift their lifetime ban of Knicks legend Charles Oakley.

Knicks owner James Dolan imposed the ban after Oakley was arrested during a game Wednesday night after an altercation with security officers. Oakley was reportedly heckling Dolan for the team’s current state of affairs before he was surrounded by security and asked to leave. In the process, he was taken down and handcuffed by police.

T.I. isn’t the first to show support for the revered ex-Knick. Ice Cube as well as NBA players LeBron James, Dwyane Wade have rallied behind him as well.

As far as a ban is concerned, it shouldn’t be too hard, the Knicks are not playing good basketball these days and haven’t given fans much reason to come to games. Unless it is to chant “Charles Oakley.”
