Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith just made everyone’s year in confirming the 2017 releases from his uber-talented label. When it comes to TDE news, Top Dawg’s twitter is usually the most reliable source. So when he says that we can expect to see four albums released this year, let’s believe him.

Top broke the news this past weekend during one his always entertaining Q&A sessions with fans.

With this Friday, April 7 being the presumed date that Kendrick Lamar‘s new album is dropping, fans are already asking about what’s next.

Top says that SZA will finally be dropping her “amazing” CTRL album after Kendrick’s album comes out. He also says that Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q will be dropping this year too. In an interview earlier this year Schoolboy Q alluded to his album already being done and having a lighter tone than his previous work.

He also predicts that Kendrick’s project will be “album of the year.”
