The Notorious B.I.G.‘s presence still looms large in the Hip-Hop and music world despite it being 20 years since his untimely death. The Brooklyn rapper will be honored at the 30th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards.

The Associated Press reports that the late, great Frank White will receive the ASCAP Founders Award on June 22 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.

B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace, and his widow, Faith Evans (who just dropped a duet album called The King & I), will accept the award on his behalf.

Biggie Smalls’ son with Evans, CJ Wallace, is prepping to release his own music.

Also being honored at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards are production legends Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.
