Wait, Mars Blackmon is now a Latinx man? We learn this while getting to know Nola Darling’s lovers in a sneak peak trailer of Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It by Spike Lee.
DeWanda Wise stars as Nola Darling and just like in the 1986 film, she has a trio of dudes trying to get chose; Greer Childs, Jamie Overstreet and Mars Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon, who was originally played by Spike Lee, will get the most critical eye since he’s the most popular character.
She’s Gotta Have It will be on Netflix on Thanksgiving. Peep the sneak peak below.
