Today (July 6) is National Fried Chicken Day apparently, and don’t let any stereotypes fool you because everyone loves the fried bird. The culinary “holiday” became Twitter’s top trending topic this morning and users on the social media network rejoiced in kind.
According to Wikipedia, National Fried Chicken Day is totally a thing and some of the major chicken chains have used the annual celebration to hawk their fried wares. But even with our best research, we couldn’t find the originator of this glorious day.
