5 Things We Learned From HoodCelebrityy on The Breakfast Club

It’s been a long time coming but HoodCelebrityy finally got her debut EP Inna Real Life out and she’s more than ready for her time in the spotlight.

Stopping by The Breakfast Club to chop it up with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, the Jamaican reggae trap artist talks about some interesting things including where things went wrong with her former bestie, Cardi B, Trey Songz shooting his shot, and how she feels about her family.

Here are the 5 things we learned from HoodCelebrityy on The Breakfast Club.

1. Cardi B

HoodCelebrityy used to be best friends with Cardi B and actually has a few records with her. She met Cardi when she was 18-years-old and they both supported each other’s music aspirations and while she was happy for Cardi when she inked her deal, Cardi felt a ways when Hood signed hers.

2. Cardi Fallout

Unfortunately for HC, when she signed with KSR her “best friend” Cardi cursed her out because she signed to her same producer and didn’t tell her. It also didn’t help the relationship that when Cardi left Hood didn’t walk out with her. She says that they didn’t do anything to make her walk out the door with Cardi and the “Bodak Yellow” rapper apparently resented her for staying. Though she says she doesn’t think they’ll be back to being friends, HC says she won’t talk bad about her and “will always wish her the best.”

3. Working Hard

The “Walking Trophy” artist says she started working out when she was 17-years-old. She says the manager at the clothing store she worked at was a fitness freak and got her into working out and she even got into boxing for a minute. Who want smoke with her?

4. Trey Shootin’

HoodCelebrityy reveals that Trey Songz actually “tried” her and attempted to mack her during a FaceTime convo. She says that even though Trey’s a “pretty boy” she’s focused on her career right now.

5. Family Matters

Growing up HC says she used to hate her family and didn’t want to be around some of them. “I used to be like ‘Why am I a part of this family? Why do I have to do this? Why am I the one that everybody’s always dependent on?” Now that she’s grown and doing her own thing she says she loves her “piece of sh*t family.” Well, at least she loves them.
