Last week, Warner Bros. felt the wrath of the comic book and Latino community when they announced that their Batgirl films starring In The Heights star, Leslie Grace would not be seeing the light of day ever.
On Wednesday (August 3) news broke that Warner Bros. had officially shelved Batgirl due to their feeling that it didn’t meet the “blockbuster” standards they’ve set for any DCEU film. Now the film’s star Leslie Grace has broken her silence over the disappointing news.
Looks like the DCEU is taking yet another step backwards thanks to Warner Bros. as the highly-anticipated Batgirl film starring In The Heights actress Leslie Grace will not be released…at all.
No word yet on the film's plot or who'll she'll be facing off against as Batgirl (not to be confused with Batwoman), but best believe we'll be tuning in when the film debuts exclusively on HBO Max sometime next year.
