It’s that time of the year when Black Girl Magic is celebrated as BET is readying for the next installment of the Black Girls Rock! Awards and they’ve chosen none other than comedian/actress Niecy Nash to take on hosting duties.

The 2017 Black Girls Rock Awards, normally styled as Black Girls Rock!,  was another star-studded time for the annual event. This year, beloved Democratic Party Congresswoman Maxine Waters took the stage and rocked the house with a rousing speech, and she was joined at the ceremony with the likes of Issa Rae, Solange Knowles, and more.
