Lecrae is in the hot seat after his appearance with Atlanta mega-church pastor Louie Giglio and Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy to discuss the topic of race relations took an awful turn. On Sunday (Jun 14), Giglio sat down with rapper Lecrae and Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy to have "an open and honest conversation around how racism has plagued our city for generations and the steps we can all take to confront it head-on in our church, our neighborhoods, and our hearts."


Besides plenty of civilians fans, Lecrae has plenty of supports from his Hip-Hop peers. Artists like Kendrick Lamar, 9th Wonder and No Malice have all spoke graciously about the Christian rapper’s skills. The co-signs were all good, but Lecrae isn’t looking for anyone’s “approval.”  “I appreciate everybody’s respect and love,” Lecrae told Hip-Hop Wired.
