Drake‘s new album delivered, at least commercially. The Toronto rapper’s third proper project, Nothing Was The Same, lands this week at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

Jay-Z is still making #newrules and new records. The Brooklyn rapper/mogul’s latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, debuts at No. 1 on the album charts while breaking a Spotify record for the most first week streams in its history.

Billboard has teamed with consumer information company Nielsen and will now factor YouTube video plays when ranking songs on the “Hot 100” singles chart. Baauer’s smash hit, “Harlem Shake,” has already benefited, landing at No. 1 on the aforementioned chart.
