In Lifetime’s six-part docu-series Surviving R. Kelly, a backup dancer claims she witnessed the beleaguered singer having sex with his protege, Aaliyah. Diane Haughton, the mother of the late songstress, has since spoken out to call the claims false.
R. Kelly‘s perverse way of life has been well documented over the years with women calling him out for his behavior and even leading to a Lifetime docu-series in which his victims recount how the man once considered the King of R&B preyed on their young minds and bodies.
R. Kelly‘s legal struggles continue to mount but he’s going on the defensive against the ex-husband of a woman who is an alleged mistress. However, Kelly hired the woman’s divorce lawyer to battle the ex’s lawsuit after he claimed that the R&B singer broke up his marriage and gave her an STD.
New details have surfaced.
A screening of Lifetime’s forthcoming Surviving R. Kelly documentary was evacuated due to a gun threat. Reportedly, a pair of threatening phone calls were received which caused the precautionary action.
