The former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX Sam Bankman-Fried was detained by authorities in the Bahamas on Monday evening after the Department of Justice filed charges against him. Bankman-Fried was slated to testify before a congressional committee regarding the collapse of FTX on Tuesday afternoon before his arrest.
