Hot 97 Summer Jam XX went down last Sunday (June 2), and for those in attendance it was pretty much a blast. No one got called out on the Summer Jam screen and no (major) artists were no-shows, but all the acts brought their best for the capacity crowd.
Last night’s 20th anniversary Summer Jam was a success, even with Papoose’s successful attempt of Bogarting his way onto the stage. The line up of both old school and mostly new school acts made for a nice party atmosphere with stand out sets from Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz and French Montana.
Hot 97‘s yearly Summer Jam concert is always a marquee Hip-Hop event and this year is no different. Yesterday, the station revealed the Summer Jam XX lineup and it features a murderer’s row of old school and new school MCs including Wu-Tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky and more.
