It’s officially a new year, a new dawn and new crop of competition for everyone to aim to be part of 2014’s initial The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
Arsenio Hall returned to late night television after a near 20 year hiatus a little over a month ago, but is back to pushing forward Hip-Hop culture like he never left. Just last night, he invited New Yorkers A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky to perform their collaborative hit “Shabba.”
Chances that A$AP Ferg will be celebrating this entire week are pretty high. Within 48 hours, the bubbling rapper released a t-shirt in collaboration with A Bathing Ape and his long awaited debut Trap Lord.
A$AP Ferg will release his long-awaited debut Trap Lord tomorrow (August 20). We caught up with the Harlem native to discuss the album, whether he intentionally creates anthems, his A Bathing Ape collaboration, and more.
A$AP Ferg is currently on a press run to promote his Trap Lord album, but he allotted some to liberate a freebie track for fans called “Reynolds.” We assume the title may be a play on the namesake foil brand. Get it? It’s a proverbial “wrap.” No? Ok.
A$AP Rocky has ascended to stardom. Now it’s A$AP Ferg‘s turn to shine, and so far, he’s been wearing his success with grace. With his debut project, Trap Lord, due to release August 20, renowned clothing brand A Bathing Ape (BAPE) unveil a limited edition t-shirt done in collaboration with the rising MC.
A$AP Ferg is carving out a nice lane as a soloist and the Harlem rapper’s debut album, Trap Lord, is due out by the end of the month. The A$AP Mob member recently held a listening session for his new project in NYC.
Can A$AP Ferg live up to the hype? We’ll have the answer to that question when the bubbling MC releases his Trap Lord project August 20. Before then, the Internets receive another sample via a syrupy tune called “Hood Pope.”
